About Jacquie Lewis, Ph.D.Dr. Jacquie Lewis is the Co-Director of the Dream Studies Certificate Program (along with Dr. Stanley Krippner) at Saybrook University.
She has co-edited Working with Dreams and PTSD Nightmares: 14 Approaches for Psychotherapists and Counselors and Weaving Dreams Into the Classroom: Practical Ideas for Teaching about Dreams and Dreaming at Every Grade Level, including Adult Education. Jacquie also has a dream website: http://lotusdream.org/ She is the former Dream-News Editor (a monthly online newsletter) and former secretary of the board of directors of The International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD). She was the conference coordinator for the 2009 IASD annual conference, Chicago. Jacquie began keeping a dream journal 35 years ago and was a founding member of a Chicago area dream group. Jacquie has presented about dreams in various venues and also teaches dream analysis at California Southern University. She has also taught at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in which she incorporated dreamwork into courses on humanistic psychology. Jacquie is the former president of SPEAK (Supporting and Promoting Ethics for the Animal Kingdom), an all-volunteer national humane education speakers bureau. She also founded the Chicago area magazine, Good Karma. Jacquie is a, runner, yoga practitioner, and meditator, attending Buddhist retreats at least twice a year. She also enjoys documentaries and reading fiction and non-fiction.
